Corrosion inhibitor for steam and hot water systems with partially demineralized or softened feed water
FINEAMIN 15 is a mixture of vapor-volatile, alkalizing polyamines and alkaline dispersing polymers.
The surface-active polyamines support the formation of a thin, homogeneous magnetite protective layer and stabilize its structure. The entire system (including the steam and condensate network) is alkalized by the distribution coefficient of the alkalizing agents.
This provides effective protection against corrosion and the formation of deposits. Existing corrosion products and deposits are gently dispersed and broken down. Heat transfer is improved throughout the entire system, which in combination with the salt-free FINEAMIN leads to considerable savings in water, energy and chemical costs.
FINEAMIN has been assessed by medical and hygiene institutes as ecologically and toxicologically safe and is biodegradable.
Further information can be obtained from the EU safety data sheet.
As a rule, VINEAMIN is added to the respective system as a diluted solution via a suitable dosing station. The quantity to be used depends on the water quality and the condition of the plant and is determined accordingly by the technical advisor.
In steam systems, dosing should take place in the feed water line after degassing and removal of injection water.
The detection of FINEAMIN in the system is carried out either by a simple rapid test or a photometric test.
The product is supplied in liquid form in containers of 30, 60 or 210 liters. A 1000 liter container is available for large customers.
The product can be stored frost-free in closed containers for up to 2 years.
